Building on the success of last year’s event, this year’s program will focus exclusively on mental health awareness and emotional well-being, offering guests a thoughtful balance of relaxation, reflection, and personal growth.
Throughout the week, participants will have the opportunity to attend insightful talks, interactive workshops, and guided discussions designed to help them understand and manage the challenges of modern emotional life.
Topics for the 2026 Compel–DC Retreat will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing anxiety, stress, and emotional overload in a hyperconnected world
- Understanding depression and restoring motivation and purpose
- Building self-esteem in the social media generation
- The pernicious impact of social media on a generation that has lost its sense of purpose
- The degradation of mental health — what are the solutions?
- FOMO and building self-worth — an oxymoron?
- The impact of trauma and PTSD on the mind and body — pathways to healing
- Emotional regulation and mindfulness for everyday calm
- Relationships under pressure — communication and connection
- Finding meaning, resilience, and hope through faith and self-awareness
The Compel – DC Retreat offers guests the chance to disconnect from daily noise and reconnect with what matters most — peace of mind, family, and inner balance — all within a setting of luxury, warmth, and community.
